Nestled in the Rustic Kitchen near the Boston Common and attached to the new Revere Hotel, the Rustic Kitchen produces a live cooking show every Friday evening.
I compare this show in style to that of Emeril in his prime time days.
Guests are able to sit around half moon shaped bar-like tables overlooking the cooking stage.
The kitchen itself is beautiful, representing what I imagine would be a beautifully expensive cottage kitchen in the mountainsides of Spain, or Italy…
With large tv’s and reflecting mirrors no matter where you are sitting in the room you are guaranteed a great view.
The host, Liz Bramwell, cooks up some of Rustic Kitchen’s Chef’s Mike Kellys favorite cuisines relevant to the current time of year.
The menu changes every other month, and the ticket price includes pizza appetizers, the meal being prepared, as well as the wine pairing of the evening. (Best part? Bottomless refills! So drink up!)
Incredibly interactive, funny, personal, and educational, “The Cooking Show” is Boston’s only live cooking demonstration show.
Yesterday, after partnering up with Comcast, “The Cooking Show” offcially aired on Comcast Xfinity ON DEMAND under the Get Local section.
Here you can find Liz’s cooking tips, as well as some of the live show tapes.
These shows tend to fill up fast, so check out the website enough so that when you find the show you want to attend, you can do so!
